A reliable favourite for home gardeners, Butternut Waltham is an easy-to-grow winter squash that rewards you with excellent yields of beautifully shaped fruit. Each squash typically grows to around 22cm long and weighs approximately 1.8–2.2kg, making it a great size for the kitchen.
Inside, you’ll find rich orange flesh with a small seed cavity, meaning more of the sweet, smooth flesh you want for cooking. Perfect for roasting, baking, soups, mash, and hearty winter meals, this versatile variety is prized for both its flavour and texture.
