Here we have a Moissanite and 18 carat gold electro-bonded engagement ring. Moissanite is the closest gem to Diamond on the hardness scale and has extremely good fire. These are the best laboratory created diamond simulants available are expensive because they emulate natural diamonds so closely. They are often preferred over diamonds on ethical grounds. This ring comes with it's own gemological certificate. The stones are round, brilliant cut, colour graded D with VVS1 clarity, which is only one grade below flawless. Each stone is individually 4 prong set, with the centre stone 6.5mm across and the two flanking stones measuring 4mm in diameter. The band and setting are heavily 18 carat yellow gold plated, electro-bonded for durability. This is a size 10, measuring 20mm across the band so have a 6.3cm inside circumference.
