This awesome 100W magnetic cable is a Type C cable designed for use with new PD chargers. The charger regulates how much power your device can handle - laptop 19v x 4.5A (100W), new iPad/iPhone 9v x 3A (27W), standard phone 5v x 3A (15W) You can charge your laptop and your phone with this new cable
Type C cables are uni-directional so you can charge your phone off your laptop.
It can be fitted with a Type A adapter sold separately ($4.50) see separate listing to enable it to work with a standard type A charger.
Use this cable with either a USB A adapter or USB C Power Distribution (or PD) charger to charge phones, USB devices, and laptops. You can buy adapters for your laptop that allow charging with a type C cable, and some laptops come with type C charging ports already. For example Macbook Air.
It also supports data transfer of up to 480 Mbps. Charge Samsung or iPhone or older phones and devices with this cable easily.
