Decades after the disappearance of the Gauss Speaker Company, the line has returned with a proper low-end bang. Gauss 7 mixes the old-school snap of vintage near-field monitors with the bandwidth & frequency response of the new-school.

Its GAU-AMT tweeter is ultra-smooth with an impressive stereo-field making hours of listening time feel like minutes. The folded AMT driver is best described as transparent & accurate, with detailed transients delivering a super-wide sweet spot, precise imaging & an impressive natural & accurate mid-range response.

GAU-AMT’s impressive transient response comes from it’s 65mm PET film folded membrane. PET film is the lowest resonant-frequency film & hosts the lowest crossover point yet still provides exceptional high frequency extension. The GAU-AMT coil is aluminum-etched PET film that is folded & mounted in its own enclosure to prevent the backwave pressure from woofer.

High-end response of up to 22kHz makes for an exceptional reference monitor for a massive range of music & sound materials.

The woofer is inspired by our AV10-MLF & was engineered from the ground up with a major increase of materials. This provides the hard snap & fast transient response of the CLA-10, but with much more low-end. A rear bass port provides a controlled, yet punchy low-end

Balanced XLR & TRS inputs make connection easy. The back panel has easy-to-use acoustic tuning controls. A 3 position Acoustic Placement switch to optimize Gauss 7 to boundary spaces & A 3 position High Trim switch to refine additional room issues. Each Gauss 7 has it’s own Gain control for proper system calibration
