Description
7 weeks old
The Phatties are now in their 7th week! They had their first shots and microchips last week, and will be welcoming visitors in Run 2 this week and next weekend, when we’ll choose the best homes for them. For those who don’t know, Phatties (“fatties”) were born early October on JDC premises to a very pregnant rescue mom, Honey (her story here: https://jdcrescue.com/2025/09/16/honey-hope-and-heartbreak/ ) Honey already has a fantastic home to go to!
With so much interest already, we’re expecting plenty of inquiries, so if you’re keen on one of them, be sure to book a visit as soon as possible: https://jdcrescue.com/adoption-inquiry/
The Phatties will be medium size dogs, with a low to moderate level of energy who would thrive on a lifestyle block. They all have friendly temperaments, raised with other puppies and many adult dogs, with good K9 social skills and very affectionate with people.
PHATTIE 2: Phattie 2 is a chubby tricolor boy with a placid, calm temperament. He is one of the largest in the litter. Phattie 2 has a scar on his forehead from playing with a littermate he was 3 weeks old. It has been checked by the vet and it is cosmetic only. Phattie’s 2 dad was most probably a heeler, he is 3.8 kg and we estimate that he will be around 25-30 kg as a full grown adult. The mom, Honey, is a Beardie x.
We adopt nationwide: for further information, please see https://jdcrescue.com/f-a-q/
