Healthy young/developing Jewel Cichlid, approximately 7 cm.

Already showing attractive iridescent blue spotting across the face and body, with the characteristic dark markings along the flank. Still developing, so there is potentially considerably more colour to come as the fish matures. Jewel cichlids are particularly known for developing rich red/orange body colour with brilliant blue/turquoise pearling.

Active, healthy and feeding well. Currently established successfully in my large mixed cichlid aquarium.

Jewel cichlids can become territorial and assertive, particularly when mature or breeding, so buyers should research compatibility and ensure they have an appropriately sized aquarium and suitable tankmates.

Selling because I am downsizing my aquarium setup.

Pickup from Tawa, Wellington preferred.

I also travel by vehicle between Wellington and Auckland, so depending on timing I may be able to arrange collection or drop-off at a suitable location en route. This would need to fit reasonably with my travel plans, with a contribution towards transport and suitable fish packing.
