Pair of Developing Hap Cichlids – One Albino – Approx. 7–10 cm

Selling two developing African Hap cichlids together, one of which is a striking albino/pale colour form.

I can’t confidently confirm the exact strain, so I’m deliberately keeping the identification conservative. They appear consistent with Protomelas / Red Empress-type Haps, but buyers should make their own assessment from the photos.

Approximate sizes:

Smaller fish: around 7 cm Larger fish: around 10 cm

Both are healthy, active and feeding well. They are still maturing and already showing signs that they should develop increasingly attractive colouration as they get older. The non-albino fish in particular appears to be developing nicely, while the albino fish has a distinctive pale cream/peach appearance.

They have been kept successfully in my large mixed African cichlid aquarium.

As with any African cichlid, please research compatibility and ensure your aquarium is appropriately sized and stocked before purchasing.

Selling because I am downsizing my aquarium setup.

Collection / transport: Pickup from Tawa, Wellington preferred.

I also travel by vehicle between Wellington and Auckland, so depending on timing and location I may be able to arrange collection or drop-off somewhere suitable en route. This would need to fit reasonably with my travel plans, and I would expect a contribution towards transport costs and suitable fish packing.
