The whole top lifts up, giving excellent access. It has a strong chain to prevent it from going too far back

The roof is sloping down from the front to the back, so that it sheds the rain

The hutch is separated inside into sleeping quarters and a run. The entire floor is ply

There are 2 opening doors at the front. The left door is solid, making the sleeping quarters into a dark den, which rabbits like. The right door is framed and braced mesh, so that the rabbit can see out. The rest of the walls are solid

There is a 5cm threshhold between the sleeping quarters and the run. This helps to keep bedding material and a pellet bowl (if you want) in the sleeping quarters. If you are breeding, it helps to keep the baby rabbits in the sleeping quarters

There is a generous shelf in the run for the rabbit to sit on, which rabbits love

The floor is flat and can be brushed out easily - there is no lip at the front

We highly recommend a litter tray for this hutch. Check my listings for a suitable corner litter tray

There are attractive brass hinges, which won't rust

It measures 1225mm long 600mm deep 900mm high at the front, 835mm high at the back, the legs being 260mm of this height The size of the opening between the sleeping quarters & the run is 15cm x 15cm
