Hadeland Artist: Willy Johansson (1921-93) Origins: Norway Date: 1958 Background info: fulltime designer at Hadeland Glassverk - prominent figure in Scandinavian glass design, known for his unique and often abstract designs, His leadership and creative skills were globally recognized, fetching him multiple awards, including the Diploma of Honour in 1954, a gold medal in 1957, and a silver medal in 1960 at the prestigious Triennale di Milano. Willy Johansson was not just creating glassware; he was crafting pieces of art, history, and culture, and his work continues to inspire designers and artisans today.

In very good secondhand condition but as be expected with vintage glass, does have some very fine surface scratches.
