Rare, Titian studio ware ‘wood effect’ vase, circa 1955- 65? 22 x 17 cm marked on underside 8? 107-2 with an incised capital D. I’m sure I read somewhere that these were glazed by actual wood effect artists. They did a great job with glazes, notice the differing grain direction in the upper and lower section to replicate a wood turned vase. Not 100% certain but looks like it might be the Mahogany version? though it is similar to the old NZ 1954 Philco radio with an Oak cabinet in the photos. CONDITION; Excellent, no chip or cracks some crazing in the clear but only on the inside.
POSTAGE; Can double box and courier with tracking and insurance but happy to safely store until you can arrange collection provided the vase is paid for.
