If you wanted minimalism, just take the front brake off and you still have a discrete rear stopper. (Or leave the front brake on and live longer... ) Loads of life in the tyres (recent, not 80's rubber), wheels are spinning true, really nice smooth ride thanks to the plump tyres and steel frame. Modern Turbo style saddle. Seat post is free moving and greased. Everything's sorted and ready to ride. Won't need any money spending or maintenance for a long long time (likely several years).
