Here we have it folks, the original exagym. This is the granddaddy of all the home gym systems that use your own body weight to perform graduated and variable resistance training. If you want to know how they work just Google "total gym".

This one was purchased new way back in 1985 and yet still comes with its original operators manual.

This is such a boss at getting you in shape that systems like this are still being sold today, some at over $2500!

Even Chuck Norris uses a machine like this, and so did Christie Brinkley (both absolute class A specimans of the human form, if I do say so myself). And if it's good enough for Chuck & Christie, you know it's good enough for you too.

This particular unit was bought new by my parents and yet despite serving a couple of generations of the same family it has had surprisingly little use.

It's fairly grubby from being relegated to the shed, but aside from a hearty clean and a bit of lubricant to the moving parts there is no reason why it shouldn't go on to serve another generation or two, and who knows, perhaps the next Chuck or Christie (although could anyone really match the originals? I think not).
