The DOLPHIN has arrived in two model variants, the Premium and Essential - battery size being the main difference. The Premium model has a larger battery unit - 60kWh - providing a range of 427km.

The Dolphin Premium has single front-wheel-drive motor producing 150kW of power and 310Nm of torque delivering a 0 to 100km/h time of 7 seconds. An 80 kW DC charger can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes.

The BYD DOLPHIN can also run as a mobile power station with Vehicle to Load (VTOL) as standard. VTOL can achieve 3.3kW external discharge for you to be able run such things as home appliances, power tools and more.

The BYD DOLPHIN comes standard with an abundance of safety and advanced driver assistance features, including seven airbags as standard. All models feature Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Automatic Emergency Braking System, Front and Rear Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Traction Control System and Intelligent Power Brake System. The DOLPHIN also includes the new safety feature Child Presence Protection, that alerts the driver of a presence in vehicle once owner has left.

The DOLPHIN is well equipped providing heated front seats, keyless entry, a one-touch open and close tailgate, electrically heated, adjustable and retractable side mirrors, and a panoramic glass roof to let all the light shine in.

BYD DOLPHIN comes with a bumper to bumper 6 year / 150, 000km* warranty, 8 years of roadside assistance and an EV Traction Battery warranty of 8 years / 160, 000kms* *Whichever occurs first.
