Description
Sunday Drive is extremely proud to present this stunning Valiant Charger. Discover a true gem of automotive history with this magnificent 1972 Chrysler Valiant Charger 770. Renowned for its bold styling, impressive performance, and unique heritage, this classic muscle car embodies the spirit of 1970s Australian motoring.
Originally assembled and sold in NZ as a Todd Motors car it was then purchased in 2021 as a de-registered car. During recompliance it was flagged for rust, the certifier then declared it required a bare metal strip. This began a complete top to bottom restoration process over 3 years. All rust was cut out and panels repaired or replaced, the chassis was sand blasted and painted. A 360 cubic inch Chrysler crate motor and a 727 Transmission with a quicksilver quick-shifter installed. Power steering and disk brakes all around, Willwoods on the front and a Borg Warner rear end. New wheel bearings and a new high torque starter motor. A brand new custom interior was custom made and fitted. The list goes on. Hundreds of photos of the restoration process are available for genuine buyers.
While many classic V8's on the market claim to be restored or rebuilt most are not done to the standard of this incredible vehicle. Priced competitively and for a lot less than what has been spent on it you simply cannot restore another example to this standard for less than 200,000. Personalised plate is not included in the sale
