The PHEV powertrain is available on the top Ultra specification of the H6 SUV, in 2WD for $50, 990 or AWD for $53, 990.

Both Ultra PHEV models employ a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with dual electric motors. The AWD also features GWM's Hi4 (Hybrid Intelligent 4WD) system, which helps it get to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Pure electric range is 106km (2WD) or 100km (AWD), both measured under the NEDC test regime. Both PHEV variants come standard with a CCS2 charging port and are capable of fast DC charging from 30-80% in under 30 minutes. The specification of the Ultra PHEV models mirrors the equipment found across the H6 Ultra range, including: 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless phone projection, panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, 360-degree surround view camera with transparent chassis display. The PHEV range is backed by GWM Care, which includes a 7-year unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty, 8-year unlimited kilometre battery warranty and 5-year roadside assistance.
