The 2026 Jaecoo J7 1.5T EX SHS is a cutting-edge plug-in hybrid SUV that blends strong performance, excellent efficiency and a premium feature set in a modern package.

It combines a 1.5-litre turbo-charged petrol engine (105kW / 215Nm) with a 150kW electric motor (310Nm) and an 18.3 kWh lithium-ion battery to create Jaecoo's Super Hybrid System. This setup allows for up to around 106 km of pure electric driving on a full charge and a total combined driving range of around 1,200 km when both electric and petrol power are used together. Estimated combined fuel consumption is approximately 1.0 L/100 km.

The J7 SHS EX features advanced drive modes including Full Electric, Series Hybrid, Parallel Hybrid and Energy Recovery, giving seamless transitions between electric, hybrid and petrol-assisted driving. Charging capability includes AC and DC fast-charging, which can replenish the battery quickly between journeys.
