The improvements in engine performance were achieved through a combination of improved cooling, revised electronic waste gate control providing increased turbocharger boost and turbine speed, and an independent ignition spark timing strategy inspired by GT-R NISMO. Z NISMO also features an enhanced engine oil cooler for extended track performance.

Chassis Tuning Torsional Rigidity increased by 2.5% via additional front, rear and rear underfloor bracing. Stiffer front and rear suspension bushings and a stiffer mounting bushing for the steering rack further increase rigidity

Enhanced Suspension & tyres Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX CT600 tyres, also used on CT-R Tyres are fitted to lightweight NISMO specific 19 inch RAYS rims which are 0.5 wider than Z Coupe for both front and rear. Every element of the suspension has been revised which means Z NISMO has unique stabiliser bars, stiffer spring rate and larger retuned campers.
