So what's the difference between the GR and a SR5 Cruiser?

More Powerful Engine: The GR Sport features a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine producing 165kW of power and 550Nm of torque, making it the most powerful diesel engine ever fitted to a factory-produced Hilux. The SR5 Cruiser's engine, while also a 2.8L diesel, has different power and torque figures.

Enhanced Suspension: The GR Sport includes a wider track (140mm at the front and 155mm at the rear) compared to standard Hilux variants, offering improved stability and handling. It also has a 15mm taller ride height and features KYB monotube shock absorbers for better damping performance.

Disc Brakes: Unlike the SR5 Cruiser which may have drum brakes at the rear, the GR Sport has disc brakes on all four wheels.

Unique Exterior: The GR Sport has a distinctive front grille with prominent TOYOTA lettering, a unique front bumper designed to improve the approach angle, and wider bash plates for underbody protection. Interior Enhancements: The GR Sport features sports pedals, red seatbelts, and GR branding on the steering wheel and headrests.

Wheels and Tires: The GR Sport comes with 17-inch Dakar-inspired gloss black alloy wheels fitted with all-terrain tires.

Other GR Sport Specifics: The GR Sport includes things like black over-fenders, red brake calipers, and GR badges on the exterior.
