1986 Volkswagen Golf GTI

Selling our 1986 VW Golf GTI Mk2 16V in white. It has 300,000 km on the chassis but is in immaculate condition inside and out, easily one of the cleanest examples in NZ.

This is a genuine factory 16-valve GTI, far rarer than the 8V models, with very few brought into the country and even fewer surviving in original condition. This particular car is even more desirable thanks to its factory front quarter windows, a feature only found on early Mk2 models and extremely rare to see today.

The 1.8L 16V engine with 5-speed manual drives beautifully, the interior is tidy, and the body is straight and clean. Always garaged and well cared for, everything works as it should.
