Triumph for sale

The production of Triumph cars has long since ended, with the brand being retired in 1984 by owners, British Leyland. As such, users will find a smattering of used Triumph cars in the TradeMe listings, perfect for collectors or those interested in the classic styles not often seen around New Zealand anymore.

Famed for a series of sport-style saloons and convertibles in the 1960s and 1970s, owing to their earlier roots as a manufacturer for the premium end of the market, Triumph's have had their fair share of famous owners over the years. John Lennon drove a Triumph Herald, perhaps as a nod towards Triumph's large production factory in Lennon's hometown of Liverpool, whilst a Triumph appeared in several of the James Bond films starring Sean Connery.

Given the range in age and models, second-hand Triumph's are now available at a huge range of prices. It largely depends on the condition of the vehicle, with listings available from just a few thousand dollars all the way up to (and beyond) $50,000 in some cases.
