Description
We are looking for a new flatmate to join our sunny, shabby-chic, 1950s state house, good vibes whare in Otaki. You will be living with two artists (who also have jobs) and a te reo student at the wananga. We have some incredible meals and conversations together here and at other times we are more independent in the bustle of our lives.
This whare is walking distance from the Wananga, bus stop, supermarket, library, cafes, bakeries, fish and chip shop, excellent Indian restaurant, pub with great and affordable kai, Toi Matarau art gallery, 3 oppshops, hot pools, gym, library, the beach, and a short drive to an awa. Got a cranking lemon tree that fruits all year round, a baby mara kai / vege / herb garden that is still developing and heaps of lawn space to plant your own if you're that way inclined. Rimu floors. HRV system makes the house notably dry and warm esp when the sun shines, which is a lot here.
