This adorable one-bedroom cottage looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale. It's surrounded by flowers and trees, so even though it's in a sub-division, it's very private. There are heaps of double-glazed windows which let in gorgeous light and warmth, but it's also kept cozy with a large fireplace. The bedroom is massive, with a queen sized bed and L-shaped reading nook with rabbit fur squabs. The livingroom has high ceilings, and is connected to the kitchen. The shower is small, but it gets the job done.

I've been living here for 6 years, and am subletting while I'm away. I will need to leave some things there, but am happy to negotiate however much space you want/need. The bed, furniture, etc will stay, as well as towels, linens, and kitchen stuff. You can just bring your own sweet self. My desk is currently a mess, but it will be cleaned for your use. Great place for someone who wants to do some writing, or get stuck into another project.

There's plenty of space for one, but two would also be comfortable. Open to pets, depending on the circumstances. There is no fencing, so a dog would not be protected from the road. The neighbour's cats come round frequently (they are undeterred when informed they don't live here), so that would be something to take into account.

Definitely no smokers, even outside.

Power/internet/water included in the price. We're on water we draw up from the bore on site, not city water.
