48 KANUKA DRIVE - WAITARERE BEACH A beautiful lifestyle section just over an acre in size situated on the corner of Kanuka Avenue and Truebridge Drive. This was where we were going to build our dream retirement home but unfortunately life occasionally tends to disagree with ones plans, so someone else now has the opportunity to make their own dreams come true. Our dream was to build with a large deck overlooking the lake, with thoughts of plenty of room for the grandchildren to run amok and probably end up splashing about in the lake or feeding the ducks. A few fruit trees would have been nice, an apple and a plum, and definitely a mandarin tree or two. Some raised gardens would have been perfect for growing spray free vegetables and there is nothing like picking a fresh tomato to have on your morning toast, and maybe a small chook house for an egg or two to go with those tomatoes on toast. Waitarere Beach has a great vibe and looks to continue to grow. The beach is a huge attraction and being only a twenty minute drives to Levin, or a little further to Palmerston North it is an ideal holiday or retirement proposition.
