Prices : meat hunts fallow hinds $200 each

Daily rate - $225 per hunter

Two hunter package $380 each includes one meat animal (hinds only)

Rifle hire and ammo included if needed . None hunters no cost .

Fully Guided Hunts Shot deer are carried and/or picked up with a Daihatsu 4x4 mini truck, transported back to the shed for skinning .

Bookings essential with a $100 deposit required to secure hunt date.

*No meat hunting from November - May to start meat hunts generally. Some managment bucks available from March . Overseas hunters booked take president during roar.

A range for shooting is available to sight-in before the hunt and training for prone shooting positions etc .This is important as most hunters’ rifles are not sighted-in properly. *It is also far easier if hunters have some experience hunting goats, rabbits and opossums beforehand .

I’ve found young people under 14 generally are barely capable of shooting on average 200 metres. As above more experience.

This Day Hunt option, is ideal for those who can only getaway for a day. It is within easy driving distance from Waikato and Auckland. Tea & coffee and a snack are provided at the lodge before or/after the hunt. Accommodation for longer hunts/stay is also available.

Accommodation is available at $100 per person each room has a queen and a king single bed). 1 room is available, each with their own bathroom. Includes the use of kitchen and BBQ.
