I am a highly experienced maths and statistics tutor, currently taking on new students for 2026. I provide online lessons to students across NZ and abroad, and in-person lessons for students based in Christchurch.
Over the past 15+ years, I have supported hundreds of students of all ages and abilities, across a diverse range of exam systems, university courses and maths competitions.
I am thoroughly familiar with all high school exam systems offered in NZ, including
- NCEA Levels 1, 2, 3, and Scholarship (Calculus and Statistics)
- Cambridge (CAIE): IGCSE, AS, A-level, and Further Maths
- IB: Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (SL) Maths
I also tutor most university-level maths and statistics courses, including business statistics, biostatistics and statistics-based psychology courses.

In recent years, I've returned to tutoring for maths olympiads, successfully coaching a student over six years to make the NZIMO team and win 2x Silver Medals at the IMO. I assist students at all stages of their olympiad journey, including:

I have a BSc double-majoring in maths and psychology, an MSc in Statistics, and recently completed an LLB, followed by admission to the Bar in 2024.
I gained NCEA scholarship in five subjects, including Calculus and Statistics, twice represented New Zealand at the International Maths Olympiad (IMO) and gained early admission to Princeton University (where I studied math) with full financial aid.
