Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time, getting back into it after years away, or wanting to level up your playing, I offer friendly, personalized guitar lessons designed to suit you.
I believe learning guitar should be fun, encouraging, and inspiring - not intimidating. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, music taste, and pace.
ABOUT ME:
I’m a professional guitarist, performer, and educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, currently teaching across high schools, universities, and private studios in Auckland.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Music (Honours) – Jazz Performance Instructor at the University of Auckland Teaching throughout Auckland High Schools Recipient of the Joy Crees Jazz Scholarship (2021) Excellence in Music – NCEA Levels 1, 2 & 3 Grade 8 Rockschool Certificate Endorsed by Ernie Ball / Music Man Endorsed by MusicWorks Active performing musician across many styles

Learning songs you actually want to play Technique (chords, scales, rhythm, lead guitar) Music theory made simple and practical Improvisation & soloing Trinity & Rockschool grade preparation Building confidence and musicality
