Chenny is a great guitar tutor. He is very experienced and patient to his students. He provides relax and comfortable learning experiences for my daughter. Because of that, she enjoys her guitar lessons and really thinks that guitar is the right choice for her music instrument.

Chenny is Awesome! My son is excited for his guitar lesson every week and has progressed considerably in his time with Chenny. We find Chenny to be a relaxed and patient teacher who really connects with our son and nurtures his musical taste. I have recommended Chenny to several people already and would have no hesitation in doing so to others. My sons band came 3rd in the National Intermediate Bandquest in 2020 and Chenny undoubtedly helped perfect his playing for that competition.

Chenny has the biggest smile I've seen on a teacher. He is welcoming, an attentive listener, responsive to needs and desires (eg. the type of music I wanted to learn), and encouraging. Although a complete beginner, Chenny made me feel successful right away. Very patient and awesome tutor. You can feel he really ensures you to learn but at the same time enjoy music without pressure! You can see his spirit in guitar in the lesson which makes you like guitar even more! I can say that he is the best guitar tutor in NZ! Chenny is patient, fun and so humble about how incredibly talented he is at music and at teaching music. Chenny is a great teacher. Less then a month in I could already play a couple different songs, 2 months on learning bar cords! Great listener with a relaxed style that makes it easy to learn. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who is new to guitar.

I can not recommend Chenny highly enough as a guitar tutor. Not only does he have a genuine and positive nature but he also has a great skill at finding what 'drives' his pupil and playing to their strengths. My son started lessons with him in July 2016 and in February 2017 he successfully auditioned for guitarist of his school rock band. A truly amazing result and I know much of this is thanks to Chenny's fantastic guidance. Regardless of your age or skill level, you won't regret calling him!

Chenny is fantastic! The kids have been learning from Chenny since the beginning of the year and have improved 10 fold. Chenny has a lovely nature and is great at building the confidence in both my 13 and 11 year old. He has a wonderful mix of building on the guitar basics and keeping the kids inspired with great pieces of music that are fun to play which include challenging chord combinations. The kids love it and feel like rock stars at every lesson!

Chenny is brilliant! My 10 year old daughter has been having weekly lessons for almost a year, and he has been a brilliant teacher. She has really taken off with her guitar, and more importantly she really enjoys going along. He is very approachable and friendly - I couldn't recommend him highly enough!

Highly recommended. Chenny's teaching style adapts to all situations and he is patient and gentle, giving nervous students the pleasure of looking forward to a lesson. I am a mature student who knew absolutely nothing about playing the guitar. I can now play simple tunes e.g. 'Happy Birthday" with confidence and enjoyment and understand a lot about guitar theory after only 5 months tuition :0)

Wow what an amazing guitar teacher and so patient, my daughter is thoroughly enjoying the classes and has learnt so much a real credit to you Chenny . Chenny keeps the music they learn current and keeps them really excited to learn..

So far (only 3 months in) My lessons seem to be going well, Chenny is very flexible with arranging times that suit both, and moving times when needed. Asking the learning what type of music they wish to learn/lean towards is a big plus for me. I'm still waiting for my guitar playing to bring in hordes of groupies, but Chenny has assured me this will come with time.
