My rate is $48 per 40 minute lesson. Beginners usually start with 40 minute lessons. This allows extra time (where suitable) for games, improvisation, and/or other important and fun musical activities!
As students progress, they can have longer lessons if required.

He taught me the skills and methods of learning piano the I still use to this day (10 years after seeing him). If I was ever to take up lessons again, I would absolutely go with Martin. 100% recommended!

This is a rare auditory phenomenon characterized by the ability of a person to identify or re-create a given musical note without the benefit of a reference tone. I also am a qualified piano teacher and I don't possess this gift. I thoroughly recommend Martin as a gifted musician and teacher.
laifu (27 Saturday, 12 December 2015Martin is a great tutor. As an adult beginner I had some concerns and worries at the beginner but Martin's friendly approach put me at ease straight away. I've been taking lessons from Martin for over two years now and have enjoyed every session and learned so much. His attention to the technical and musical details is amazing. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to play piano.
