I am offering uke workshops at any uke festival and other international locations - space is usually limited, so you must call or txt me to register and get the program details....
Learn, alternate strumming techniques, chord developement, finger picking styles, blues, ragtime, swing, boogie and even some bottleneck slide with open tunings for traditional folk music, if you have the desire... Let me help you find that special uke that you've always wanted. I can set it up to suit your playing ability and style, and give you lessons to get it all started, or help you with intermediate-advanced tuition for that unique style you want to develop.
I specialise in helping those who have a desire to play uke without the hard task of learning formal music notation, but want to play chords, flat pick or finger style and sing to it all. If your intention is to develop one specific style or many techniques I can get you started on a practical path.
NOTE: I give special sessions if you organise your own group. They would receive a much better variety of learning opportunity that would compliment your existing tutors. Individuals in these groups do very well because they have their friends or colleagues for support. Structured & facilitated sessions can be given to club members, private groups or to corporate groups as a motivational team building program.
Take a look at my web site(s) http://www.singnuke.co.nz, or http://www.mmm4u.co.nz and to contact me via txt or email to set up any type of service that will help you play your uke or guitar with more PIZZAZZ.
Donate/sell me your old uke for kids who can't afford it, I give free lessons to help them get started. Call me if you know a kid who needs a uke..

coco731 (61 Thursday, 22 November 2012 )Paul, you're a marvel! Patient, trustworthy, helpful and knowledgeable on all things 'guitary'. The Gibson is everything you said she'd be and more. Will cherish her for a long time to come. Thanks a million!
Trader responded Thursday, 27 November 2014That Gibson was made for you mate and you made it sound like magic, so enjoy it! One of my great pleasures is to find old beauties like that and pass them on after I've enjoyed them for a while myself - done Gibson, National, Dobro, Martin, Republic, Seagull, Art & Lutherie, Beltona and heaps of others, so keep an eye on my listings or give me a call when you are thinking of growing your collection. Cheers, Paul
papltd (7 Tuesday, 21 August 2012 )You are a very special person; willing to give quality time to those who ask advice from you. The fact that you also offer free group lessons and community workshops for Ukulele and Guitar is wonderful and such a treat for those of us who are keen to learn from you. I know you have directed potential students to other free learning resourses when they could have been paying customers because you assessed that they had the talent to progress on their own - that alone gives you great integrity.
Trader responded Tuesday, 21 August 2012Thank you. It is a treat to offer help after receiving it from so many others for so many years. Family, friends and folk & blues club memebers have all contributed to what I offer, and its great to give it back. Its also good fun importing the guitars and getting them in the hands of both well established players as well as those just developing their music expression. I will also offer presentation tips, tools & techniques for live performances in the future. Thanks for your feedback. Paul
