How to list a property on Trade Me when selling privately

Before you list: Your checklist

Property vitals:

The basics: Exact address, including any unit or flat numbers.
The layout: Total count of bedrooms, bathrooms, ensuites, and separate toilets.
Living space: Number of separate lounges, dining areas, or studies.
Measurements: Floor and land area in square metres (m²).
Parking: Number of garage, carport, or off-street spots.

The sales plan:

Method of sale: Will it be an asking price, enquiries over, auction, tender, price by negotiation, or deadline sale?
Price details: Have your asking price and capital value (CV) or rateable value (RV) handy.
Expected sale price: This is for Trade Me's search filters and isn't shown on the site.
Open home times: Plan your preferred dates and times.
Contact details: Ensure your mobile or home phone numbers are accurate. You also have the ability to suggest the best time to contact you.
