Rich-lister’s $10 million Lake House listed after upgrade

Owner David Lawn had the house designed by London-based architect Alex Wilcock in 2016. It was built over three years by Triple Star Construction.

A 30m-long conservatory with overhead louvres is a key feature of the triple-glazed house. No matter what the weather, it maintains a comfortable temperature inside.

Neutrally toned interior furnishings ensure the interior doesn’t compete with the scenery.

The house has five bedrooms, two of which are main suites. There is a separate guest wing.

Although quite isolated, the property is just 12 minutes from Queenstown by car. The town can also be reached by boat.
