These pieces are genuine from the Devon potteries of the 1920’s. The saying on the teapot is “Gum me arties ‘help yersels’ and on the teacup “Just a wee drappie Tea” It IS English, just a rendering of Devon speech. All the pieces are in pristine condition, no chips, cracks or flaws visible.
