From humble beginnings in 2012 Ignition firewood is the leading supplier of firewood within Auckland. Our team of 10 staff work year round to provide a quality product and experience. Our business involves the whole supply chain when it comes to firewood and we can do it all in house. Our business departments are as follows;

We are always buying in wood. Our preferred form is in logs as this the most efficient way to transport. Our log truck can haul 28 tonne per load. We buy in most types of log including; PINE, GUM, MACROCARPA & TEA TREE. We will also consider buying in wood in rounds & split. Please contact us directly for rates.

Woodlots we ARE looking for: *200 tonne+ (200 trees or more) *Straight logs left over from logging operation *Wood to be collected after another contractor has been in

Woodlots we ARE NOT looking for; *Small volume of trees around houses/power lines *Small diameter shelter belt trees *For woodlots like this we would recommend another contractor.

We carry in stock both Hardwood and Softwood year round. Our hotmix is the most common product sold which is a combination of hardwood and softwood. We also have Kiln dried products (ready to burn) and semi seasoned products. These wood types include ; Pine, Gum, Macrocarpa, Tea Tree, Pohutukawa & Pine offcut
