Elsa is a fictional character who features in Walt Disney Animation Studios' animated fantasy film Frozen (2013), as well as other media within the Frozen franchise, including its sequel Frozen II (2019).

Elsa possesses the magical ability to create and control ice and snow. During her coronation, she accidentally plunges Arendelle into an eternal winter. Throughout the film, Elsa faces challenges in managing and hiding her powers and later strives to free herself from the fear of inadvertently hurting others, particularly her younger sister.
