Dingy with wheels for beach launch
Description
The greatest Christmas present I ever bought for my family was a boat. As we could go to the beach and enjoy being on the water. Summer is here which means you need a boat to enjoy being on the water. The only hassle is having to use a boat ramp to launch and retrieve your boat. Take the hassle out of boating by being able to launch your boat off any beach is the way to go. This 2.6-meter fiberglass boat has its own set of three wheels which allow it to move across the sand for a beach launch. All three sets of wheels can be switched out of the water. There is no such boat on the market, so I built it for my own use. It has its own road trailer so you can take the boat to any beach you choose to launch it there. Which means you are not restricted to where you can go boating. We know how saltwater can very quickly damage galvanized steel trailer when you immerse them in the saltwater. This boat having its own wheels means you do not need to immerse the trailer in seawater. Whenever I launch the boat people come over and comment about how practical it is. When it comes to an outboard motor Yamaha is the way to go but are very expensive. I purchased this Yamaha clone from a diesel mechanic who researched how good the Yamaha clones are. The motor had under 20hours use when I bought it off his deceased estate. The motor has had a full service on it including retorque the engine gaskets, replaced the gearbox oil and installed a new water pump kit. All this gear was purchased from the local Yamaha dealer. The 9.9hp outboard motor means the boat is very fast. Quarter throttle is enough to pop out to my fishing spot. With this power to weight ratio the boat will easily tow a child on a donut tube. The boat has two rod holders, road trailer, outboard motor, fuel tank & hose coupling, anchor plus set of paddles and a set of life jackets. Rego due March 2026, WOF due December 2027
