Idle Along Centreboard Sailing Dingy

Idle Along (IA) small wooden centreboard yacht, we named her Ruby.

Ideally suited to 2 or 3 adults. Happily fits a family (we sailed with our family of 5 until kids turned into teens and then it was cuddly).

Designed in NZ. A popular competitive sailing class in the 60s. Now an excellent family sailing dingy.

Approx. 3.8m long, 1.8m wide. Approx. 15m2 sailing area, including jib. Wide beam provides stability so great for family sailing.

Trailer recently warranted with new tyres.

General condition is good. Has been consistently under cover. She's had a new paint job since we owned her and is ready to go for summer.

We also have a small electric motor that we are happy to sell separately. Great for when the wind drops.
