Rowing skiff
Description
5.5 meter LOA row boat 1300 beam
Plywood and fibreglass construction Very well built (proffessional)
Two seater (two rowers) Or front seat is removable and rows really well solo Does have a rudder but its not fitted(ive never needed it)
Easy enough for one person to drag around or onto trailer etc. I have been using it to fish out of on the kaipara and it works beautifully. Removable rod holder/bait board setup made for it.
Anchor setup is like a kayak to allow diffwrwnt positions and ease of use. (Anchor not included)
She is a work boat so she has plenty of scratchs and worn paint and bruises but she is very sea worthy and capable. Ready to go. If you wanted she would tidy up for a show boat really well.
One pair of oars ,baitboard, seat and rudder included. Trailer not included at this stage (i slide it on a normal trailer)
Costs nothing to run and wont break down. Almost zero maintanance... The best way to catch fish or explore up the rivers etc!
Will trade for an outboard 15hp.
Pickup from Tauhoa.
Questions & Answers
Any idea of approximate weight. Would one person get it onto a vehicle roof rack without too much difficulty? halsey2 (180 • 8:58 pm, Fri, 2 Jan )I think it would be to awkward rather than heavy. I move it around by myself but I slide it etc. It might be about 50kg maybe... thats a guess. Come and have a look and try it if you like... rustcle (231 • Friday, 2 January 2026 )Thanks halsey2 (180 • 8:18 am, Sat, 3 Jan ). rustcle (231 • Saturday, 3 January 2026 )
