Classic Wooden Clinker Motor Boat

A classic wooden clinker dinghy with an in-board motor, in completely restored fully seaworthy condition. It has a length of 12ft (3,680mm) and a beam of 5ft 9in (1,750mm).

The last known clinker dinghy built by Gordon Tibble, renowned boatbuilder at Guards Boatbuilders, Nelson in 1968.

Built originally as a rowing boat and later converted to an inboard motorboat with an 8Hp Wisconsin motor.

Loving and skillfully restored in the early 2000's and re-powered with a more modern Lifan 6.5Hp 4 stroke engine with a belt-driven prop shaft, bulge pump, air cooling fan and electric start.

Great trailer with spare wheel and fully waterproof heavy duty road cover.

Boat can be inspected near Kirwee or Christchurch, by arrangement.
