Dinghy kitset project

This 2.4 metre wooden dinghy is light, lively, and rewarding to build. Measuring 2.4m by 1.2m, it uses traditional timber construction rather than stitch and glue, which many builders find easier and more enjoyable.

It is an excellent family project and a great way to learn boat building skills together. We are always available to guide you through the process if you need support. Build time is around 25 to 30 hours, plus finishing. One seat is supplied with every kit but extra seats can be added At just over 20kg, this dinghy makes an ideal tender.
