3.1m Dinghy Kitset project

The 3.1 metre dinghy offers more room, more power and greater freeboard than our smaller version but a straightforward build approach. Measuring 3.1m by 1.2m, it is built using traditional wooden construction that keeps the process clear and achievable.

This is another great family friendly build, and we are always on hand to help if questions come up. Build time is approximately 25 to 30 hours plus finishing depending on how you choose to finish it.

The basic kit includes two prefabricated seats. The 3.1m dinghy can take outboards up to 6hp, making it a strong option for those wanting extra performance , carrying space or a light fishing vessel.
