1968 Carl Augustin Launch

Being sold as a damaged asset on behalf of an insurance company 40 foot wooden launch the Sonar Mia Damaged areas included but are not necessarily limited to; Anchor rope, propeller, rudder, driveshaft and stainless steel fly bridge Engine is a Lees Marine Model 6 180. Vessel is being sold remotely with images and details supplied by the storage facility Engine is a Ford 6 cylinder Saber engine with a Lees marine conversion. It has been made known to me the engine had three hours on a fresh rebuild before it's trip to Gisborne where it is now. Engine is in running condition but possibly has a bent prop shaft. The vessel hit a submerged object off the coast of Gisborne which caused the possible propeller shaft bend, along with rudder damage. Vessel was watertight when it was taken to Gisborne, but has a leaking gland which takes in around 20 liters of water overnight.
