Description
GRAND BANKS , is a Lanes built kauri saloon launch. She was built in 1982 and measures 38ft( including duck board) by 9 ft 10 inch beam and a 3ft 7 inch draft. The vessel is built from Kauri in the traditional method for single skin construction. Longitude planking, 1 inch thickness being copper riveted to steam bent hardwood ribs and bilge stringers and fasten to transverse sawn floors and structural bulkhead. Decks are plywood on beams. External deck and cabin top surfaces are fibreglass sheathed. The Deadwood is bolted externally with bronze bolts. Accommodation consists of a four berth cabin which is adjacent to a bulkhead anchor cable locker, has storage beneath the lower berths . The bridge deck saloon has the steering and control console with Helmsman seats to Port with sliding side door opposite helm, seats to starboard with lockers and access to the deck by sliding door. A settee berth is fitted to port with stowage beneath.The galley has a parkinson manor four burner gas stove and grill, stainless steel sink bench, pressurised hot and cold water with seperate toilet and shower compartment -Ford Lees marinised 120hp 6 cylinder diesel engine -Borg warner hydraulic gearbox -3 bladed 20x18 prop via 1 5/8 shaft with thrust bearing and universal shaft -engine driven freezer compressor -12v compressor fridge saloon and 12v compressor freezer aft locker -450litre stainless steel fuel tanks -450 litre stainless steel water tanks -dual station engine and steering controls -9 inch touch screen simrad GO9!plotter/gps -raymarine autopilot -cabin heating and water cylinder heating via diesel fueled units -30lbs plough anchor with galv chain -auto bilge system with emergency/high water alarm system -auto anchor system -hot/cold outside cockpit shower -JUICE 200A/hr lithium house with 460w solar -new canvas work -BEP gas control system with auto shut offs -Opua marina area 4ton mooring available to purchaser for agreed price as extra option SETUP AS LIVEABOARD HULL SURVEY avail via email trades?
