Owen Woolley 12m Launch - Project
Description
Great project for a boatbuilder or someone with the skills to finish.
This 38ft launch was designed and partially constructed by Owen Woolley Boatbuilders in 1985. It’s powered by an Iveco 8061 (220HP) turbo-diesel - installed by Lees Industries before being transported to Wellington for completion by the owner. The build reached around 90% completion before it was put on hold. The boat has been kept covered and dry for more than 30 years, and the structure has remained in good condition.
Key Features: *Triple-skin kauri hull, glassed over. *Sedan-style helm layout. *Accommodation for six in forward cabins including toilet and shower. *Full head-height saloon with galley. *Teak deckings, cockpit and boarding platform.
Most major components already installed: tanks, winches, hatches, electrical wiring, etc. Additional fixtures included but not fitted, such as handrails, screens and interior furnishings.
If you’re looking for a solid platform with excellent lineage and craftsmanship, this is a fantastic head start. The hard work and heavy construction are already done - now it needs someone with the skills and vision to bring it through to completion.
Sale Details: Being sold as is, where is. The boat must be removed from its current location. We’re looking for a quick sale and open to all reasonable Buy Now offers. Get in touch for more information or to arrange a viewing.
