Description

After cruising the Sounds and enjoying this boat for 5-6 years this olde beauty has been a project for my father for the last 17 -18 years, a carpenter by trade he set to restore this olde girl so that his grandchildren could go fishing with him.He has spent 100's of hours pottering in the shed over the years but sadly the last stretch to get the boat finished is now beyond him. We are wanting to pass this project onto someone else that is able to finish the job and get the enjoyment from this classic Marlborough Sounds cruiser. We don't no too much about the boat other than it has had a new/reconditioned diesel engine fitted 35 hours ago. It comes with everything required to get it going. It is approximately 10 mtrs long, has a toilet and a small galley, it would sleep up to 4 passengers. It just requires the antifouling to be completed and windscreens to be reinstalled to make it weathertight, and a bloody good clean inside! The cabin looks dirty in the photos but only due to the fact it has been sitting collecting dust for past 18 years. The marine workshops I have spoken to in Marlborough are confident that the diesel motor will run and the steering and prop shaft will be operational after someone with some know how has a look. The boat is stored in Waikawa Marina, Marlborough. Please call me on 0223635932 for more information. Thanks Greg
