Ratua is an impressive inshore and offshore sport fisher designed by Tim Barnett with space, range and capability in mind. Built in NZ, the current owners returned the vessel from Vanuatu four years ago, via New Caledonia and The Three Kings - a testament to her seaworthy design.
The cockpit is a standout area, offering plenty of space for fishing. She is set up with game poles, game chair, livebait tank, tuna tubes, bait station with inbuilt chiller, cray hauler, cockpit table, and salt and freshwater deck wash.
The helm includes 16” upper and 12” lower Simrad EVO3s, Halo 24 radar, AIS & IridiumGo. A bow thruster and trim tabs help with handling, while the cockpit helm station gives excellent visibility. She also includes solar panels, chargemaster inverter, engine room fire suppression, upper and lower VHF, Lewmar anchor winch, 30kg claw anchor and 100m brand new 10mm chain.
Inside, Ratua has 1 cabin and 7 berths including the salon. The salon dining table lowers on an electric auto ram to create a double bed. The galley includes gas hobs, microwave, refrigeration and freezer.
The wet room includes a toilet, full-height shower and wet/draining rod locker. There is also massive underfloor storage for gear, supplies and fishing equipment.
Also includes an AB tender with 8hp Yamaha outboard, inflatable swimming platform and offshore 6-man SeaAir liferaft.
Ratua had a full antifoul haul over at the end of 2025 including a garnet blast back to bare aluminium for a hull inspection. A fresh antifoul system with Carboguard and Pettit Vivid was applied with Propspeed, anodes, engine service and fresh start batteries.
A capable aluminium sportfisher, ready for its next owner.
