Kauri planked on hardwood frames copper fastened. I have owned her since 2012,and did 10 seasons albacore fishing east and west coast of north and south island.Pulls tuna very well had a few seasons over 50t.Has been set netting,longlineing and all sorts!! Versatile vessel with an easily driven hull shape,unbeatable in a following sea. Had her in 100nm survey up until a couple years ago. I tied her up to go and run a trawler for a while and the while has turned into over 3 years already so I'm advertising for sale because the boat is still ready to go to work but I have no job for her. Ice hold 9T albacore,or I chuck a few mattresses down there for mum and the kids when we go away for a weekend. She would make a grate live aboard!Top end rebuild on the 8v71 Detroit about 3500 hours ago,runs mint,MG504 gearbox 3.5 to 1 reduction,42 inch 4 blade propeller,1850rpm open shell do 10kts with a clean bum, trolling 1100rpm at 6kn 10.5LPH, stainless steel tail shaft new in 2014 and still mint,3800L fuel in 3 tanks.400L fresh water in 2 tanks in the aft locker,150L drinking water on the roof in nice s/s tank.Commercial grade electronics, JRC open scanner radar,grunty JRC sounder get the bottom in 1200m clearly,New com nav Auto pilot,olrac system for mpi reporting,solid state drive for time zero, icom m800 ssb, new vhf. Callifont for hot water.Re built the anchor winch a couple months ago very powerful motor/gearbox works well.Two sails,gibb fits well,self tacking,stops her rolling alot and a free half a knot at least.Cabin roof fully fiberglassed and has not leaked a drop since,that was 10 years ago.Can come with a set of tuna haulers if you want that pealer on there is very grunty and works well for pots,dhan lines.I brought this boat when i was 21 and had every intention of keeping her for 40 years so the things I've done have been done properly out of the right materials the right way.She has so much life left in her, she's not run down just needs somebody to carry on
