Launched in 1985 and regularly updated and maintained over the years including mast out last month and standing rigging replaced. These Chico's are renowned for there offshore and costal passage making and handling of ocean conditions. The navy still currently use three Chico 40's as cadet training vessels. The Chico 42 benefits from an extra two feet of length with the scoop added at the stern making boarding and swimming off the back easy. The stainless steel davit system for the inflatable dinghy also provides easy storage and access off the transom scoop. Antifouled November 2025 and Sail drive serviced.
