Questions & Answers
Syds old boat.did alot of miles up to the islands djf15 (0 • 8:34 pm, Mon, 5 Jan )She does look like she has been built well for cruising. marinabrokerage (6 • Monday, 5 January 2026 )This is NOT a no reserve auction. Reserve is $25000 Your advertising is misleading. riverland9 (1465 • 7:41 am, Tue, 6 Jan )All auctions have a starting price (even if it is only $1). "No reserve" means that the starting bid price will win the auction. The word reserve in auctions refers to the amount of money between the starting price and the lowest price the auction can be won at. As these prices are the same it is considered no reserve. Starting Bid is $25k. A bid of $25k can win it. There is no reserve figure between these. marinabrokerage (6 • Tuesday, 6 January 2026 )Bullshit--you advertise NO RESERVE and reserve is $25000 Guess thats just what to expect from a dodgy trader. riverland9 (1465 • 12:11 pm, Tue, 6 Jan )Please google "Does a no reserve auction have to start at $0 or can it start at a figure like $25k". You will find the whole internet disagrees with you. marinabrokerage (6 • Tuesday, 6 January 2026 )Hey Riverland9 , stop being a dick . It is obvious what the auction is here. The seller is not trying to deceive anyone , you are just trolling. camlandes (171 • 12:20 pm, Tue, 6 Jan ):-) marinabrokerage (6 • Tuesday, 6 January 2026 )I am sorry, but I agree with Riverland9, as this Auction has a Reserve/Opening Bid, of $25,000, which IS The Reserve Price? What it makes, or doesn't make above that remains to be seen, but $25,000 IS it's Reserve Perhaps Riverland9 is like me, looking to buy a Keeler, and doesn't like being mis-led? rodney19581 (0 • 2:41 pm, Tue, 6 Jan )I just looked at Riverland9's TradeMe listings. She has 19 listings and all but two have a price shown and the words "No Reserve" written above or below the price. e.g. the Mytton Rodd Silverware has a No Reserve price of $45 or a Buy Now price of $50. marinabrokerage (6 • Tuesday, 6 January 2026 )
