I purchased this Townson in bad need of refurbishment, but my work has taken me abroad so I'm unable to commit the time and effort needed to get this beautifuly built yacht back to her original state. She was built in 82/83 by Alan Hooper and finished by Kevin Johnson. She has been out of the water since 2012 but unfortunately not covered so there is a lot of fresh water damage, the deck would have to be replaced as well as some soft patches in the hull, she has a rig and sails, but not much else. this may suit someone who has the time to re build a lovely yacht, she's on the hard in Whitianga and ready for removal.

Hi Rob The yacht is not in my back yard but at a property close to Whitianga No it doesn’t have to be moved immediately, but would be great to have it moved by the end of the year, I currently pay $80 per month where she is. nzl.paul (5) • Wednesday, 11 February 2026
