GULF 32 -OCEAN GOING
Description
****PRICE REDUCED - OFFERS OVER $37,500+++ This is an incredibly well-priced boat and great value for a seaworthy boat. We have priced the boat to sell. We paid $75,000 for her in October 2019 and have spent $60,000 on her, as indicated below. We have designed the boat to be sailed solo handed if necessary. Sadly our age is catching up to us, and this is the reason for selling.
We have updated many things on her in 2020/21: . New sails . New Electric winches . New Electric anchor . New Furling gib . New Electronic wind gauge. . New canvas awnings and covers . New forestay . All ropes coming back to the cockpit
- New transom and steps for easier boarding
She comes with autopilot and has solar panels. Many more extras also.
Fibreglass hull. For insurance purposes she is hauled out every 2 years. Last antifoul, hull polish and inspection May 2025. Survey Inspection is available.
The boat sleeps six. The cockpit comfortably takes 6 - 7 adults plus a couple of children. The deck at the front is wonderful for placing up to 4 bean bags on.
We chose this yacht for her stability. The man we bought the boat off had crossed the Atlantic twice in another 32 foot boat and bought this boat for its stability while regularly crossing the Cook Strait.
Engine is a 32 hp Universal Westerbecke. Engine hours 2398 (or 2400). We have history of all works and service done from the boat's beginnings, plus manuals.
We have got 7.2knots out of her heading windward and up to 8.5 on a broad lead. She cruises at about 5.5 knots.
Full service history and work done on the boat since it arrived in NZ in 2016 (approx).
Todays costs for shipping, backloading, Taupo to Tauranga, $2,400 + GST, Taupo to Auckland is $3,200 + GST.
She was built in California in 1990, and shipped out to NZ about 10 years ago.

hi , any idea on price to move to wellington ? any photos of cockpit and wheel etc loadsafeproduct (95 • 6:30 pm, Wed, 25 Feb )Hi there. I would say about $5,000. Boat haulage shifted it up here from WgN. If you ring them. And If you go into the link in the advert, saildata.com - you will be able to get the dimensions to give the haulage company. We did it on a back load which is way cheaper. Hubby is going to add extra photos including the cabin.
